GUNTM was born in May 2009, commemorating the 60th anniversary of Kyung Hee University, driven by then Dean Choi Seung-hoon of the College of Korean Medicine. Based on his experience of international cooperation in the field of traditional medicine at WHO, he created a global network spanning education, research, and clinical practice by weaving the hopes of member countries that the future of traditional medicine depends on universities.
